Household Hazardous Waste Available
The 71 vouchers available through this grant-funded program are available on a first come, first serve basis, and are limited to one per household. The “low income” criteria used for this program is your enrollment in PG&E's CARE Program. When you come to City Hall to pick up a voucher, you must present photo identification, and a 2006 or 2007 PG&E statement that shows your enrollment in the CARE program at your Fortuna address. |
The City of Fortuna recently obtained a grant to fund 71 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) vouchers for low-income Fortuna residents. This voucher program will help ensure that HHW stays out of the waste stream, assist the City’s evaluation of Fortuna’s HHW volume, and will run
from March 1, 2007 thrugh February 28, 2008. If you have questions, please call 725-1464 (not City Hall).
