Stop in to see Fortuna's past in the 1893 train depot.
The Depot Museum houses intriguing memorabilia from railroad, logging, farm, kitchen and war eras, keeping alive the history of Fortuna and the Eel River Valley. Come see our newly redecorated rooms: Rohner Room, kindly donated by Frank Rohner, learn the history of the Rohner family and Rohner Park; Reference Room, research the history of Fortuna and surrounding areas; Train Room, come see the new replica of local Eel Valley point of interest, donated by Buck Buchanen.
Winter (Sept - May ) hours: Noon-4:30 pm ~ Thursday - Sunday.
Summer (June - Aug) hours: Noon-4:30 PM ~ 7 days a week.
