Proposed Water and Sewer Rate Information

The City of Fortuna is in the process of raising its water and sewer rates. Here are calculators to estimate your water bill using those rates.

In the past, the sewer rates in Fortuna were a flat monthly rate. Under the new proposed rates, the residential sewer charges will be based on the amount of water used.
What that means is, the more water you use, the more you will pay for sewer.
HOWEVER, in the Summer you will NOT be charged extra SEWER for the water used to irrigate your lawn and garden. There's more information here.
