Proposed Summer Water and Sewer Rate Information

How do I estimate my summer residential Utility Bill using the new 2006-2007 water and sewer rates?

The calculators below are for summer (May through October) rates. The winter rate calculator is located here.

Your water and sewer rate is calculated on how much water has passed through your meter since the last reading. The proposed rates include a provision for Summer sewer charges to accommodate the people who water their lawns and gardens. The Summer sewer rate WILL NOT be charged on the amount of water used during the Summer months but instead will be based on an average from your Winter month's water usage.

A portion of a utility bill is shown below. Your water usage in cubic feet since the last reading is found under the word "Consumed", highlighted below in yellow.

STEP 1. The summer calculator requires an extra step on your part, you will need to contact City Hall at 725-7600 to get your current Winter average rate.
Enter that amount here:

STEP 2. To estimate what your utility bill would be at the proposed new rates, find the amount consumed on your water bill.
Enter that amount here:

STEP 3.

The new amount will be estimated below. This worksheet does not send out any information in doing this.
